Final project for Professional Business Writing Fall 2019


The purpose of this project was to write a formal report on an improvement that should be made on campus. I explained how and why they should update the computer labs on campus.

These are a few pages included in my report.

I learned a lot about writing and presenting reports during this project. I had to complete research understand if this issue was affecting other students in the school. I also had to understand how to come up with a valuable solution for various issues. My grade on this project was successful. For the whole project, I did link it on the home page as well as here.

Digital Marketing Strategy Final 2021

The purpose of this project was to create a strategic marketing plan for an assigned Nonprofit Organization. My partner and I worked hard to research and understand the MSU Texas Center for Nonprofit Leadership and Management. The Center wanted to gain awareness from the campus.

These are a few slides from my project.

I worked with a partner to complete this project. We scheduled several meetings with the founder of this nonprofit. They gave us a list concerns they had with the brand awareness on campus of the nonprofit. We collected those and came up with solutions to be implemented within the next 2 years. My partner and I presented this project to the founders of the organization. We earned a good grade and gratitude from the founders of The Center for Nonprofit Leadership and Management.

Consumer Behavior Final Project 2019

I worked on this project for my consumer behavior course with a group. Our task was to create a beauty product and explain how we would reach consumers. Our product was an aromatherapy lotion understanding how consumer behavior would impact the brand awareness.

These are two graphic models I made of our product. I used sources such as smartmockups.com and photoshop. Both of these photos were ideas of what the product could look like from the packaging to the advertising.

During this project I had the role of team leader. I delegated certain areas of the project to each team member, including myself. I also oversaw all of the slides to make sure they were all in order. I was very proud of my team for working together and creating such a great project. I learned a lot about how consumer behavior directly relates to the awareness and success of a product. It takes a lot of intention to create a product for consumers that the consumers can enjoy.

Instagram Posts for GNC in Wichita Falls, TX

I created the Instagram page for this store while I was a working as a Sales Associate. I worked in the store for over a year and decided that post-Covid19 we had a decline in customers. We had to close for almost three months during the shutdown, however, our main competitor remained open during the shutdown. I was given creative control over the page from my manager to reach the community without funding.

I took most of the original photos of the products and, created the captions. I also created all of the captions for the shared content posted from franchise partners and GNC corporate. I take pride in creating short fun captions that are also informative. I tried to included small messages about each product after the main caption. I also learned how to effectively use hashtags to reach a larger audience. Our following is small however, it has grown greatly with the resources provided. I had to be creative and find inexpensive ways to promote content. Such as, tagging every brand on the photo and in the caption. This made sure the post was able to reach our franchise partners to show our support. Many of these posts have been shared to the brands stories, I am very proud of that.
